Tsega Mula February 8, 2001 When I think about The Rotary Boys & Girls Club, I think about dreams being fulfilled, potential being discovered, and even lives being saved. Being a part of The Rotary Boys & Girls Club family is an honor. Throughout my years as a Rotary Boys & Girls Club member I have learned just how much my life means to me and that I, Tsega Mulu, have so much to contribute to this world. The club has taught me the definition of companionship and friendship. I have met many incredible people at the club, from coaches to staff to volunteers, and they have all made a difference in my life. When I pass through the purple doors of the club, joy overtakes me, and I am reminded again that I am somebody and that I have the potential to be somebody even better. Before I was a Rotary member, when I was at a low place in my life, when I was trying to survive and struggle through each day, God put Rotary in my path to help me set and accomplish goals and keep me on the path. By offering exciting programs and great opportunities, the club has encouraged me to be a leader, to make my own way in life, not to follow others. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the outstanding staff for encouraging me and helping me to realize my potential in life.
