GoodThings is growing an amazing team of passionate, smart, fun, and enthusiastic people. Each of us is building something with goodthings.com that has meaning and purpose for us individually and for the world. We come from a variety of fields (high-technology, publishing, environmental consulting, telecommunications, Internet security) and from a multitude of disciplines (operations, marketing, business development, general management, publishing), but we all approach our work at goodthings.com with a common goal to bring goodthings to people!
- Barcy, CEO (Chief Energy Officer) and CPO (Chief Passion Officer) and queen of the wanna-bes a wanna-be sailor, outdoor adventurer, comedian, poet, and art flick lover. Shes certifiable, though, as a chocolate lover and a lime-flavored Tostitos addict
- Jennifer, Greeting Card Maven and someone with a penchant for all things African and makes a mean batch of peanut soup. Relentless on the trail, she has hiked on every continent (okay, sans a couple of 'em) and is certain her travel days will return, but for now she revels in being a mom.
- Laurie, Creative Services Manager and someone who's recently realized that snowboarding and banjo-playing may be her true callings.
- Wood, Wordsmith, the voice of GoodThings and a music-obsessed, biking enthusiast who cant function very far from the sight of water

- George, Board Member: A mathematician, and a lover of photographs, cute puppies, Winston Churchill, baseball and family
- Dave, Co-Founder & Board Member: A father first, a windsurfer second. Every once in a while you can catch him (although he hates to admit it) listening to country music...

How Do We Define "Good"?

"Good" is, of course, subjective.
To us, "good" has authenticity, depth, nuance
and character.
"goodthings" means specific things (people, organizations,
stories, products, ideas) that are
| · |
creative (inventive, imaginative, original, ingenious, resourceful), |
| · |
constructive (helpful, positive, beneficial, useful, productive) and |
| · |
connective (linking, bridging, joining people and ideas together). |
"Good" to us is not about perfection, nor is it a Pollyanna-ish emphasis on the
positive. Instead it is a celebration of the many, diverse aspects of good
already present in our world.
